The Senior Medicaid Contract Tools, Education, Processes Professional builds templates, standard documentation, policy and protocol, case studies, and disseminates best in class knowledge.

Responsibilities

This position works directly with IT, vendors, internal market contractors and leaders, and corporate subject matter experts to support MERLIN Contract Management system.  This dynamic role also includes problem diagnosis, issue resolution, technical configuration of the Icertis software, business requirement development, user support, and user acceptance testing.  This is a fast-paced position with multiple components.  The ideal candidate will have a strong technical mindset rooted in customer service and problem solving skills.

  • Develops and maintains productive and long-term working relationships with multiple business partners

  • Completes and documents technical configurations in Icertis

  • Develops requirements for new system functionality

  • Investigates and resolves system issues

  • Provides customer support via phone, email, and IM (Teams)

  • Supports user acceptance testing for MERLIN, Icertis, and Provider Self Service contracting enhancements

  • Provides information, support, and education in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action during projects

  • 2+ years of experience handling mid-scale projects

  • 2+ years of experience developing business requirements

  • Customer service experience

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word

  • Possesses a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across departments

  • Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment

  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Icertis technical administration

  • Experience using qTest

  • Experience working in ServiceNow

  • Experience with contract management systems

  • Experience in user acceptance testing

  • Healthcare and/or managed care experience

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
    • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
    • Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
    • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.  (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
    • Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota.  Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
    • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
    • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
